How do your ready-to-wear men’s boots fit?
They are designed by me and made in León, Mexico to my specifications. Most customers find they run true to size. If you are between sizes or have a particularly wide or narrow foot, email me with your usual size and any fit notes from other boots you own.
What is the difference between the ready-to-wear line and fully custom boots?
The ready-to-wear (shelf) boots are designed by me and built to a high standard in Mexico. They offer excellent quality and style at a more accessible price and timeline. Fully custom boots are made one pair at a time in my Virginia City shop, on a last built specifically for your foot, with complete freedom of design and materials.
Are the soles leather or rubber?
Most ready-to-wear styles feature leather soles. Check the individual product page for exact specifications.
Can these boots be resoled?
Yes. They are constructed so they can be resoled by a competent bootmaker or shoe repair shop.
Do you offer wide or narrow widths in the ready-to-wear line?
Yes, any of the shelf boot styles can be ordered for whichever size you wear based off of sizing from a Brannock device, offering widths as narrow as AAA up to as wide as EEEE.
